Welcome to my blog! I will post new and past sessions sprinkled with quotes, inspiration and things that just pop in my head! So feel free to check in and leave comments. Cheers!
This was a first for me. I've never photographed a surprise engagement. So I jumped at the chance!
Lauren and Sean have been dating for a couple of years and an upcoming girls trip seemed to be the perfect time to pop the big question! Sean flew in and asked some of her family and his to be there. So sweet! Dusk on Shelby Street bridge was a romantic backdrop. I walked past two other surprise engagements before getting to Sean. It was obvious that he put lots of thought and love into this. He had their first initials inside a heart of candles, holding a single rose and a beautiful ring. How could she say No?!
Well thank goodness she didn't cause we were standing on a bridge! He was so nervous and she was so not expecting it. It was adorable and all our hearts were full and excited for them both!
Congratulations you two!

This sweet boy just turned one! Happy Happy Birthday Grant!

Aisley just turned 3! I had the best time following this little comedian around! She had suggestions on what would be a good backdrop and was a natural in front of the camera. What a beautiful mother daughter team they are!

In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade.
I'll be all in clover and when they look you over,
I'll be the proudest fellow in the Easter parade.
On the avenue, fifth avenue, the photographers will snap us,
And you'll find that you're in the rotogravure.
Oh, I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet,
And of the girl I'm taking to the Easter parade.
